Remembering those we have lost, grateful for their gifts

Note: This message was originally sent on November 2, 2019

Colleagues:

As you all know, the month of November holds a special place in the calendar of the Catholic Church. For centuries, it has been a time to remember those who have passed away, reminding us to celebrate their lives and how they continue to bless us. At Gonzaga, we honor this tradition by praying for our deceased loved ones during the month of November through masses and remembrance books.

We invite you to participate in these memorials by signing Gonzaga’s Online Remembrance Book as a way to remember and honor our departed loved ones. These names will be included in the physical Book of Remembrance in the University Chapel and prayed for at University masses and masses of the Gonzaga Jesuit Community.

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.   Click here for our ONLINE REMEMBRANCE FORM
