You’ve got some holiday cheer coming your way from GU this week:
- Today and every day until December 25
You light up the lives of everyone in the Gonzaga community, which is why you're invited to "illuminate" the countdown to Christmas in the Zag spirit with your very own 2021 Gonzaga University online Advent calendar.
- Tuesday, November 30
The Gonzaga University Tree Lighting Celebrationstreams live from the John J. Hemmingson Center, from 5:00 – 5:20 pm; enjoy as the Big Bing Theory sings songs to get you in the holiday spirit and the tree lights up in celebration of the Christmas season.
- Saturday/Sunday, December 11 and 12
We're excited to welcome you all into the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center once more for the annual Candlelight Christmas Concerts: Ring Out, Ye Bells! to rejoice in the season of light and the ringing of hope. The first in-person Candlelight concert we’ve had in two years, these performances will feature Gonzaga Concert Choir, Discantus Treble Chorus, and Glee Club with pianists Annie Flood and Garrett Heathman conducted by Drs. Amy Porter and Jadrian Tarver.
Saturday, December 11, 7:30pm PST (Brass prelude begins at 7:00 pm)
Sunday, December 12, 3pm PST (Brass prelude begins at 2:30 pm)
If you would like tickets, just let me know!
- Sunday, December 12
For you and your friends/family, don’t miss Advent Mass & Photos with Santa and Spike (Mass is at 10:00 am, followed by photos with Santa and Spike at 11:00 am).
And a partridge in a pear tree—there are even more holiday surprises coming your way, so keep an eye on your inbox and mailbox!
We are grateful for the energy and light you bring to the Gonzaga community. Our students and alumni are brightening lives near and far all year long thanks to your inspiration and generosity. Thank you!
