Many of you have likely already read the donor spotlight in today’s “Morning Mail”, but we thought you might enjoy some backstory… this truly reinforces the role that our trustees/regents (current and former) play in extending our work into their communities and networks.
Trustee emeritus Pat West came to know this family as they are neighbors (down south). Once Pat learned more about Al and Cathy’s story, he undertook a diligent journey to make sure they would come to see how their foundation and goals very much aligned with the work we do at GU. As a result, we are very proud to be one of only a few universities in the country to have Annexstad scholars among our student body.
