“Talk to me, Goose!” With just about a week before students return to campus for Fall semester, faculty, staff, administrators are flying high with anticipation—as you can see in this year’s annual “See you soon!” video, which has President McCulloh and Spike feeling the need for students to speed back to GU.
We’re expecting 1,237 first-year Zags to join the Gonzaga family—43 of them through our Gonzaga Global partnership—thanks to your support. You’ll be able to see them for yourself during their “Welcome Walk” while faculty, staff and classmates cheer them on (I’m planning to send you video from the center of the action!). Hopefully, they’ll never lose that lovin’ feeling after such a warm GU welcome. Ok, ok….I’ll stop now……. 😊
On top of that, the classes of 2023, 2024, and 2025 will be back to help these new Zags navigate this new chapter of life while continuing their own journeys onward and upward. Because of you, they will find the encouragement and support they need to engage with ideas, each other, and their uniquely Jesuit education on a trajectory toward a positive impact in the world. Thank you for all you do to propel Gonzaga University skyward!
