Snow.
It happened this week…and ice and then more snow. Not sure what it is doing outside right now, but it is some version of winter joy covering everything……
A colleague of ours was in need of heading to the airport in the thick of the snowstorm on Wednesday afternoon and had arranged for an Uber pick-up. She was quite pleased when her Uber arrived and she was greeted with a large 4-wheel drive vehicle. However, within just moments of departing, the SUV got stuck and was spinning out. Our colleague jumped out to assess the situation and to figure out where she could push, but before she could put muscle to the problem, she was swarmed by no less than 20 students who promptly unstuck the Uber. She still thinks the student swarm may have actually picked up and moved the SUV, but she is not 100% sure. Either way, our students jumped in the minute they saw someone in need. No surprises here, but still really good to see and experience.
Grateful for our students, truly persons for others.
Stay warm everyone.
