A post from Rick Clark … current GU student:
“Well, today is my final day of yet another semester! I am doing a group presentation at 8 am and then turning in a monster of a final paper after that... then I get to relax for 4 weeks!! About 4 years ago, I made a decision to wake up each day and actively look for the GOOD in the world. I was tired of the bad beating me up day after day, month after month, and year after year. As I started to be aware of the good around me and as I started to seek it out, things started getting better in my life.....a lot better. Here I sit, four short years later getting ready to graduate from Gonzaga University at 47 years young. I could literally write a book and title it "And then each day was better than the last". People spend thousands of dollars and years of their life trying to find the secret to life. I found it. I am sharing it here for FREE. Go out and be open to the good stuff happening around you. Let go of the negativity and the barriers we build for ourselves. Only focus on the good and watch what happens. Happy Thursday, everyone. Good is waiting for you, right outside your door. Go get some.”
You all likely remember Rick from this story about his life, http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2017/dec/24/how-backpacks-and-a-bus-ride-changed-rick-clarks-l/ , and how he came to GU.
Enjoy and GO ZAGS, indeed…go all Zags.
PS – Day 15, the latest edition of Gonzaga Magazine is coming to a mailbox near you, Zags, so make sure we have your address.
