You’re invited to enjoy the story of Barbara (Fagan) Blizzard (’66), affectionately known around the Advancement office as "The Miz Bliz," a Gonzaga alumna who turns philanthropy into an art form. Each Zags Give Day, her name rings through the halls, sparking joy and a chorus of gratitude.
From a serendipitous change of fate that led her to Gonzaga University to the life-altering experiences in Florence, Barbara’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Her tale is a mosaic of heartfelt giving, a touch of mischief in Italy, and the astonishing power of a near-perfect memory—it’s true, she's part of the only Gonzaga in Florence class with a story so surprising it'll leave you in stitches…(No Jesuits were harmed in the making of this legacy, we promise!)
