The undersigned citizens of Spokane Falls and vicinity hereby subscribe the sum of money set opposite our names respectively to aid Joseph M Cataldo in constructing a college building or rather one wing of a building to be used as a college under supervision of the Jesuits. The wing or building now proposed to be erected will be of brick or stone and in size not less than forty feet wide by eight feet long and three stories high. Said building to be located and built on the south half of section (17) in township (25) north range (43) east.
It is proposed to commence said building early in the spring of 1882 and have the same ready for use as a college in the autumn of the same year.
The amount subscribed by each of us is to be paid in three equal payments – one third on our about the first day of March 1882 when said building or work should be commenced, one- third on the first day of June 1882 and the balance – one third to be paid on the 15th day of August 1882 when said building shall be enclosed. Dated this day October 1882
