The Women’s Empowerment LLC is an affirming and inspiring community dedicated to fostering the growth, leadership, and resilience of female identifying individuals. This inclusive residential space provides a safe and supportive environment where students can explore gender as a social identity and examine how it intersects with other identities and lived experiences.
Residents of the Women’s Empowerment LLC are encouraged to embrace self-expression, engage in discussions on women's history and achievements, explore feminist theory, and critically analyze the impact of patriarchal oppression on all genders.
Additionally, the Women’s Empowerment LLC highlights key needs such as menstrual advocacy, breast cancer awareness, and women’s health, fostering an environment where students can educate, advocate, and support one another. Residents uplift gender equity, challenge gender inequality, and celebrating personal and collective female empowerment.
The Women’s Empowerment LLC supports students in becoming confident leaders and advocates for gender equity and social justice in their personal, academic, and professional lives.
Open to all incoming students, this community provides a space within our residence halls that promotes personal wellness, social connectedness, and academic success centering the Female Student experience.
