Lavender House is Fully Gender Inclusive Living
Lavender House uniquely offers gender inclusive living as a standard for all of its residents. The floor allows students to select roommates or preference roommates outside of a gender binary. This community also provides a gender inclusive community restroom open to all genders and gender expressions.
All participants should be aware that residents living in the Lavender House community may share a room with students of any gender, gender identity, gender expression, or sex.
Additionally, there are no dedicated “Men's” or “Women's” bathrooms on the Lavender House floor. The bathroom is a communal bathroom and shared by all members of the community (regardless of gender, gender identity, gender expression, or sex).
