Non-Degree-Seeking Student Registration

Welcome to Gonzaga University!

Gonzaga offers many opportunities for non-degree-seeking students (students who have not been formally admitted into the university). Many of these students take courses in order to sample what Gonzaga has to offer and strengthen their skills before applying for admission to a degree or certification program. Others enroll because individual courses can help them advance in their current careers or prepare for new careers, or simply because they seek the personal growth and enrichment that university study can give them.

**Please note that High School or Running Start students cannot register as a non-degree-seeking or non-matriculated student.  They will need to register as a Dual Enrollment student.  Information on Dual Enrollment can be found with Undergraduate Admissions.**

How and Where to Register

Students must fill out a new activation request for each semester they wish to take classes.

There are two ways to register:

  1. Online Registration
To be activated for the upcoming semester please fill out the Activation Form. (Undergraduate only, for Graduate level courses, please use the link above) After submitting the Activation form, you will receive a confirmation email from the Registrar's Office 2 weeks prior to the start of registration which will include your student ID number and instructions on how to register for classes online.
  2. Walk-In Registration
If you wish to register in person, please visit the Registrar's Office in College Hall, Room 229. The staff will give you detailed information about registration, courses, and class locations, as well as provide to you the appropriate forms for registration purposes.

As the Payment/Arrangement deadline for each semester is due upon registration, you should contact the Student Accounts Office on the day you register for instructions on how to settle your account. Otherwise, on the following day, you will receive an email notification that a bill is ready to view. You will need to log in to Zagweb, then follow the link to CASHNet to view your bill.
