Hi there! My name is Ally Clapp Huff and I am delighted to be back at Gonzaga and back in University Ministry! I am honored to do this work.

I began my journey at Gonzaga as a Religious Studies and Philosophy major, graduated in 2018, and started my time as a campus minister working in this office. After two years of learning, listening, and finding profound meaning in this work, I moved across the country to pursue a Masters in Divinity (a degree that sounds like something from Hogwarts, but is really a three-year Christian theology degree) at Boston College. While on the East Coast, I served as hospital chaplain at Johns Hopkins and Massachusetts General Hospital, an experience that has profoundly shaped my relationship with God and approach to ministry. I am a lay Catholic, a godmother, and an oldest sibling, and I am married to a fellow Zag and grew up in southern California.

I believe in the inherent belovedness of each person, in the intersection of sacredness and silliness, that "divinity indeed infuses all things,"* that there is joy in "joining our sorrows"**, and that "the glory of God is the human person fully alive.***"

I love audiobooks, improv comedy, sci-fi and fantasy, run-on sentences, and really good quotes.****
