Registration Information

2020 JUSTEC Conference Canceled
Due to concerns related to COVID-19, the 2020 JUSTEC Conference has been canceled. Stay tuned for updates about the 2021 Conference.
This year, the theme is Multidisciplinary Contexts and Perspectives so papers and presentations will address this theme.

The first day will include a breakfast bar, K-12 School Visits and an evening reception & networking. The second day includes registration, welcome, and various presentations and keynote speakers. The third day includes a breakfast bar, banquet style lunch, various presentations, formal closing and a final board meeting for the JUSTEC board. The last day will include an optional tour of Spokane for those who wish.

Please Note:

  • The registration & payment site will be closed after April 15th, 2020.
  • For regular participants, all payment is expected to be completed by April 1st, 2020 (U.S. Western time) for your early bird advantage.
  • All presenting authors must have a paid registration by March 15th, 2020 to ensure inclusion into the program.
  • Dinner on May 29th and May 30th will be on your own.
  • Transportation between Gonzaga University and your accommodation will be on your own.

School Visit on May 28th, 2020 (optional)

We plan to visit Logan Elementary & Shaw Middle School as an optional school visit.

Please Note:

  • The space for school visit is limited to 40 participants, so first come first serve. 
  • Please sign up for the school visit when you complete your online registration and payment.
  • We would like to avoid any confusion at school, so we will get together at Gonzaga University and visit the schools as a group. Thus, you cannot park at school or Gonzaga University.
  • If you cannot come to the meeting time at Gonzaga University, you may not be able to join the school visit. So please come on time.

Optional Tour on May 31st, 2020

JUSTEC Participants will be able to walk downtown on Spokane’s famous centennial trail. They can visit our newly remodeled Riverfront Park, shop at Riverside Square, take a ride over the beautiful Spokane Falls on our SkyRide, visit specialty shops and areas unique to Spokane and the great Pacific Northwest.

Payment

  • All payment will be done on the JUSTEC registration & payment site. No on-site payment will be accepted.
  • The deadline for payment is April 15, 2020 (U.S. Western time) for all participants (not presenting), but the early bird rate is only available by March 15th, 2020.
  • The JUSTEC Office will provide your receipt at the registration desk during the JUSTEC 2020.
  • As mentioned above, all presenting authors must have a paid registration by March 15th, 2020 (U.S. Western time) to ensure inclusion into the program.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made by April 15th, 2020 (U.S. Western time) will be refunded the full cost of the conference. Cancellations made after April 15th, 2020 (U.S. Western time) will not be eligible for refund. Anyone who is registered, but cannot attend may send a substitute.
