Helping students to stay safe and healthy is a top priority of the Study Abroad office. Adjusting to a new culture and environment is a period of highs and lows – learning to navigate a new area, new foods and a different routine. You may experience some sort of health or safety issue while you are abroad, so it is important to be prepared.
We hope that you will follow these guidelines to better prepare yourself in order to have the most rewarding and positive time abroad. We cannot force them upon you, but urge you to pay attention to them, and to exercise the same caution as you would in the United States in order to have the best experience possible.
