Preparing, creating and leading an atmosphere of praise where people can encounter Jesus and be transformed in the presence of God’s love is important for faith development. At Gonzaga, we have experiences that can foster this:
Adoration
Once a month Mission and Ministry hosts a night of praise and worship, preaching and Eucharistic adoration. This is a Catholic tradition in which a priest processes with the Blessed Sacrament. All are invited to sing and then rest in silence while being in the presence of Jesus. Dates and times for other opportunities for adoration and other sacraments can be found at the link below.
Eucharistic Adoration
2:00-4:00 p.m. - St. Aloysius (Tuesdays)
6:45-7:45 a.m. - St. Aloysius (Fridays)
7:00 p.m. - Bishop White Seminary (Sundays)
Light Nights
Light Nights are a brand new weekly event for students seeking Catholic community and worship. Every Thursday at 7:00 PM, we will gather in the University Chapel and/or the Hearth Room (3rd floor college hall) to grow in our faith with one another. Whether for Mass, talks, Adoration, food, or simply experiencing the love of God and fellowship, we are here for you!

Thirst
A multi-denominational group of students leading students in praise and worship. From a guitarist to a pianist, from a drummer to a soprano, we welcome all giftings of praise to lead and serve together. This takes place every Thursday night at 9:00 PM at St. Michael's Chapel in the Kennedy Apartments.
Reconciliation
Reconciliation is currently offered on Wednesdays from 9-10 PM in University Chapel and by appointment in the Mission & Ministry Hemmingson Office.
