Meet the Jesuits
Gonzaga University is home to the Della Strada Jesuit Community, a residence for members of the Society of Jesus living and working in the Spokane region. Jesuits are a Catholic religious order of men, grounded in love for Christ and animated by the spiritual vision of their founder, St. Ignatius of Loyola, to help others and seek God in all things.
As members of a worldwide society within the Catholic Church, the Jesuits are committed to the service of faith and the promotion of justice. Our Jesuits founded Gonzaga University and remain active partners in the educational experience.
