Discover New Skills
Gonzaga School of Law and the University of Florence School of Law instituted its International Mediation Program in 2017, with a shared commitment to promote globally competent dispute resolution skills in students. This program is a unique and exciting opportunity for law students to develop and refine global mediation skills for the 21st century along with students and faculty from Italy, France, Lebanon and other international locations.
2019 First Place Winners Kayleigh TenBarge and Idaho student Staniela Nikolova with Professor Inga Laurent and Professor Forestieri
“I was not sure what to expect when I first signed up for the Mediation Competition, but lucky for me, Professor Forestieri was an excellent teacher. Though I was happy just to gain new experiences and compete with students from around the world, nothing quite compares to the feeling of taking home the gold for my school. I would totally recommend the competition to future Florence students.” ~Kayleigh TenBarge
