We are excited to announce the program is basing students in different locations in the State of Washington for clinical rotations.
The program utilizes 3 clinical hubs or grouping of clinical sites.
All residents will attend didactic offerings in person at the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center Campus in Spokane Washington, during their first and second semesters.
Residents selecting Western or Central Washington cohorts will primarily attend didactic courses remotely but may choose to attend didactic courses in person at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Residents will be required to travel to Spokane to complete simulation and hands on skills and evaluation one to two times each semester.

Clinical Hub Selection:
Residents are asked to indicate their campus preferences in order of priority, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice, during the application process.
The program will attempt to honor all student requests for placement. In the event of those wanting to participate in one pod exceeds the number of positions in the pod, the program will revert to a lottery system for selection to allocate positions within a pod.
In Case of Over-Subscription:
If more students select a particular clinical hub than there are spots available, the following steps will be taken:
- Waitlist: Residents who are not initially allocated their first choice will be placed on a waitlist for that clinical hub.
- Second and Third Choices: In the meantime, students will be allocated to their second or third choice clinical hub, if spots are available.
- Movement from Waitlist: If any spots open at their first-choice clinical hub, due to students declining their spot or other reasons, residents on the waitlist will be moved up based on the order in the waitlist.
We understand that not everyone will receive their first choice. However, we assure you that all our clinical hubs provide excellent facilities and opportunities for growth and learning.
