Cecilia Bellini delle Stelle

Cecilia Bellini delle Stelle is a Professor of Italian Language and Culture.

After receiving a degree in Italian Studies from the University of Florence, Cecilia specialized in teaching Italian as a second language, earning both the First and Second Level DITALS Certifications from the University for Foreigners in Siena and a master’s degree with honors in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language from the same institution.

Over the past fifteen years, she has passionately taught Italian to students from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Her experience includes teaching adult immigrants from around the world at Public Centers for Adult Education in Prato, instructing Chinese college students from the Marco Polo and Turandot Programs at Società Dante Alighieri in Florence, and working with youth involved in international mobility projects such as Erasmus Plus and European Voluntary Service at CSD in Turin and AeF in Florence. In recent years, she has focused her expertise on American college students in Florence, collaborating with Study Abroad Programs, including Florence University of Arts and Accademia Europea, as well as with Syracuse and Gonzaga University.

In her classes, which are based on a linguistic-communicative approach, Cecilia strives to create a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere where each student feels comfortable and has the space to engage and immerse themselves in the Italian language, viewed not only as a means of communication but also as a way to deepen cultural understanding and foster personal growth.
