John and Donna Luger

John and Donna (RIP) Luger have dedicated their lives to strengthening Catholic education in the Pacific Northwest, leaving a profound impact on both Gonzaga University and the broader Catholic school system. Their commitment to expanding access to quality education led them to play a key role in founding the Fulcrum Foundation, an organization within the Archdiocese of Seattle that provides scholarships and support for Catholic schools and students in need. Their leadership also extends to Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish, Washington, where they have been actively involved in ensuring students receive a values-driven education. At Gonzaga, John Luger has been a longtime advocate for the University’s mission, serving on the Board of Trustees since 2000 and as Chairman from 2010 to 2012. Their generosity and dedication are honored through the naming of Luger Field, a space that reflects their commitment to student success and community engagement.
