Gonzaga's Symposium with Madeline Miller
Produced and Performed by Gonzaga University Students
Over the course of the Spring semester students in courses lead by Philosophy and Theatre/Dance departments have rewritten and produced a contemporary retelling of Plato's Symposium. The event will be their attempt to stage the work in progress. Best selling author Madeline Miller, whose work models the value of transforming the classics to speak to current social justice needs, will join us virtually to offer a response and talk following the show.
