More about Gabriela

Future plans:

I currently have a novel in the works that I am hoping to publish soon. No matter what my career is, I will always be a writer too! I also love community and social justice oriented work, so I hope to keep working on college campuses supporting students with diverse identities.

How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?

My majors gave me the skills to express myself through writing in both English and Spanish as well as in creative and academic capacities. Writing is a gift that not only nourishes my soul, but is a crucial part of success in the professional world.

What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?

My most significant accomplishment has been growing the Jewish community here and spearheading the project of having the first Jewish Student Union Culture Club Festival this past April! I am so proud of our community and the success of the festival.
