More about Benjamin

Future plans:

This fall, I will be attending the University of Chicago to complete my MA in Sociology. After completing my master's, I hope to continue my graduate training in sociology. So I can engage in scholarship and teaching centered on reclaiming the epistemic possibilities of alternative and solidarity economies beyond carcerality and enclosure.

How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?

My Criminology and Sociology majors helped me realize my desire to pursue a career as an activist-scholar.

What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?

Build on over ten years of feminist student activism to win University recognition of the Zags for Reproductive Justice club; the first pro-choice club to be officially recognized by a Catholic University in the United States.
