Future plans:
I will be doing my Master's in Initial Teaching at Gonzaga and I plan to teach English and ESL at the secondary and/or post-secondary level!
How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?
Although English and Classics have prepared me to excel professionally, even more importantly, these majors have fostered my personal development. I am more knowledgeable, more empathetic, and more committed to social justice; I cannot thank my professors (in both my majors) enough for helping me grow as a student and as an individual.
What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?
My English thesis, Disability and Racial Passing: A Study of Race-Based Traumatic Stress, and my Classics thesis, Gaining Disabled Godhood: Disability Gain Theory and Crook-Foot Hephaestus, are my most significant accomplishments - academically and personally.
