Future plans:

After graduation, Brayden will be traveling with Gonzaga Choirs to Italy on a long-awaited choir tour and taking a gap a year while they work and apply to graduate schools. They plan to pursue a Ph.D in Political Science and eventually teach contemporary Middle East politics at an undergraduate level.

How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?

Gonzaga's political science major embodies the university's mission to develop the whole person; it cultivates critical thinking skills to examine and bring about a more just world. Brayden's major has led them to government internships and on a career path towards continued political science work.

What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?

Brayden is most proud of their time as a member of Gonzaga's Choir Council as logistics coordinator. They have had the opportunity to help plan concerts, write program notes, and deliver pre-performance readings. Brayden is also proud of their senior thesis: Constitutional Ideals, Material Realities: The Contradictions of American Politics.
