Future plans:
I hope to get a job next year teaching English at the middle school or high school level, with the future goal of getting my Masters degree within 5 years.
How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?
English has allowed me to develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, and my passion for the subject and teaching has lead me towards wanting to teach English to others.
What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?
My most significant accomplishment was finishing the thesis project within the English major; I had never had to write a literary argument of that length and I enjoyed collaborating with my peers who were in the course with me.
Currently, I am in my student teaching and that has provided me with my proudest moment at Gonzaga, as I have got to help support and inspire students in their own academic pursuits.
