Future plans:
I will be attending the University of Pittsburgh in the fall to pursue my MA/PhD in the Department of Communication. I am driven by a desire for research, which I think could either be exported into work in higher education or public policy.
How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?
I am lucky enough to have been surrounded by students and professors that encourage critical interrogation into the world around us in order to discover solutions through rhetoric and symbolic action.
What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?
Being a four-time qualifier to the National Debate Tournament is truly an honor and something made possible by Communication Studies faculty like Glen Frappier, coaches Jason Regnier and Joe Skoog, and past and present members of the Gonzaga debate team.
