I will be taking a gap year before law school and I will be working at a law firm as a legal assistant.
How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?
My political science courses have challenged me to expand my worldview and have also allowed me to hone many of the skills that will be essential both in law school and in a career as an attorney. My economics courses have pushed me to further develop my critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and also gave me confidence in a subject that I initially believed was outside of my comfort zone.
What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?
I was honored to have been chosen by the Political Science Department to receive the Senior Award, as I have an enormous amount of respect for each professor that I have had the opportunity to learn from.
