B.A. in Criminal Justice with a Specialization in Law and Justice, University of Nevada, Reno

What do you like about the Gonzaga community?
The most distinctive trait about the Gonzaga experience is how connected the entire community is. No matter where you are on campus, you can strike up a conversation with a fellow Zag community member and feel like friends immediately. This connection stretches beyond the boundaries of the Gonzaga campus and it makes me feel a part of something bigger than myself.

What do you like to do when you aren't at work?
I spend a majority of my free time in the company of my friends. I also enjoy various outdoor activities and indulging in Spokane’s diverse restaurant life.

Joanna Hancock

B.A. in English and B.A. in Psychology, St. Olaf College

What do you like about the Gonzaga community?
I take a lot of comfort in the togetherness that the Gonzaga community offers, and am constantly inspired by the responsibility to and care for others that students maintain.

What do you like to do when you aren't at work?
When not at work, and not indulging my rambunctious orange cat, you can usually find me listening to a book on tape, watching period dramas, embroidering, or any combination of the three. I adore my friends and family, and like to connect deeply with folks over new foods.
