Through engagement with international communities, students will examine the intersection of solidarity, faith and social justice. The International Immersion program invites students to immerse themselves in another culture, engage in service, accompany marginalized communities, and deepen their understanding of social justice issues.

Rostro de Cristo provides a retreat immersion experience inviting participants to be in relationship with the Ecuadorian people, support Ecuadorians in their work to meet basic human needs and achieve a justice rooted in Gospel values, live simply, build an intentional Christian community, and to immerse themselves in the local reality. Throughout the week participants will visit, work with and learn from people involved in community programs and initiatives.

Application Process
Students interested in participating in this program can apply online beginning in September. The application process will open on September 1st and applications are due by November 1st, 2017.
Selected students will be expected to participate in 6-7 pre-trip meetings, as well as post-trip meetings upon return.
