As a nurse for over 20 years and a nurse educator for over 10 years, Trena is excited to contribute to the Jesuit-informed education of students earning their Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Gonzaga. Trena’s experience in many nursing specialties, including emergency, medical-surgical, community health, and pediatric endocrinology, provide a broad knowledge base that informs her practice as a nurse educator. She demonstrates expertise in education through distinction as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), and she is inspired both by Gonzaga’s Jesuit mission and the thoughtful contributions that students bring to the classroom.
