Materials Research Lab
Make It, Break It, Analyze It.
In the Materials Lab, researchers break materials under stress - an important step in the goal to make materials stronger, more durable, and more efficient. Testing material limits is important not only in developing new materials but in assessing the impact of manufacturing processes on material performance.
A wide range of industries need materials scientists, including aerospace engineering, manufacturing, and construction.
