Dr. Turcott’s scholarship and teaching contributions are in the areas of sociology of sport and sport management. His primary research interests include sport for development, sports labor markets in relation to global athletic migration, and global politics of international sport. In addition to publishing several book chapters pertaining to the sociological and historical aspects of sport, Dr. Turcott has published in several peer reviewed academic journals, including Journal of Sport and Social Issues, International Journal of Sport Management, and Journal of Contemporary Athletics.
