In his time at University of Oregon, John continued to promote equitable practices through his work with the Center on PBIS and The Association for Positive Behavior Support (APBS). He also supported behavioral and mental health system implementation in Oregon and Alaska as a consultant for Northwest PBIS and Project SIMPLE. Additionally, John supported the development of three experimental Curriculum-Based Measures (CBMs) to assess early literacy skills.
