Become a Teacher

This program is only open to current Gonzaga undergraduate students.

Gonzaga undergraduate students can earn their MIT through our MIT Bridge Program.

Our Master in Teaching program (MIT) leads to Washington State certification as an elementary or secondary teacher.

A Gonzaga educated teacher is expertly trained to meet students where they are, providing them the skills to truly become a life-long learner.

  • Program Length: Provides flexibility with the option to complete in either one or two years.
  • Cohort Model: Students work together to build support and collaborative relationships with their peers immediately and throughout the program.
  • In-Classroom Experience: Develop in-classroom skills through student teaching and supervised field experiences in local schools from the beginning of the program.
