Our two-year master’s program in School Counseling prepares you for a career as a professional counselor in the K-12 school setting. It also provides you with the professional training to:

  • Develop your individualized theory of counseling through a process of self-discovery and personal growth

  • Integrate competency-based and Washington State best practices into your practice
  • Develop a professional portfolio of practical experience

Our School Counseling Program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Through multi-media instruction, we prepare counselors who are:

Extend your Reach

You will be learning with and from a diverse group of people, as our rich learning environment exposes you to the experiences of your classmates and expert faculty. Successful completion of the program leads to Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Residency Certification for employment in K-12 schools.
