Foley Library isn’t just about books - its online platforms provide 24/7 access to 400 full text and research subscription databases, research guides and tutorials tailored to various subjects. One of our personal favorites? Zotero, which helps manage your research by keeping your online resources organized, maintains a notes section and even helps with everyone’s favorite thing- Citations.

Personalized Support

Each school at Gonzaga has a dedicated library liaison ready to assist you in managing your research needs. For instance, the nursing librarian can provide expert guidance for clinicals, while specialized resources are available for programs like the Master of Accountancy and M.S. in Taxation. Need help preparing for the CPA exam? Foley Library’s access to the Bloomberg Tax Center, sample tax forms and practice materials has you covered.

Beyond Gonzaga’s Campus

Need something outside of Foley’s collection? You’re in luck. Foley Library connects you to a network of libraries in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Whether you’re picking up books in person with your Gonzaga ID or requesting items to be mailed, the library ensures access to resources essential for your success. Plus, the interlibrary loan service lets you borrow articles and materials from libraries nationwide.

Flexible Support Options

Have questions? The library’s “Ask a Librarian” virtual chat is available 24/7 through the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities system. You can also schedule personalized research appointments, either in person or via Zoom, to discuss topics in depth. Every appointment is customized to fit your unique needs.

Tailored for Distance Learners 

If you’re learning remotely, Foley Library makes it easy to stay connected. The system automatically identifies distance learners, offering longer loan periods for graduate students and seamless access to virtual resources and subscriptions including academic journals and newspapers like NY Times and The Wall Street Journal.
