Delft: Presentation Day
Wrapping up the week and looking forward to the weekend, we came together at the Social Hub and had a presentation day. Everybody had three group presentations on topics from the previous week and a half spent here in the Netherlands.
Our first presentations were on carbon footprints and biocapacity, followed by our presentations on heat islands as we learned about in Amersfoort, and finally our presentations on social sustainability we learned about in Rotterdam. Between all the groups there were ten presentations!
Later that evening we had a going away event for Dr. Kyle Shimabuku (a.k.a. Dr. Slice). It was raining, so we gathered chairs and tables and huddled under umbrellas to try and stay dry. All the students signed a card to give to Dr. Shimabuku before he left. We wish Dr. Slice could have been with us for the whole trip!
