Kaylyn Myers to speak at SSIP

Kaylyn Myers is a Mechanical Engineer at MW Consulting Engineers, located in Spokane, where she helps create more energy-efficient and net-zero buildings. She has been in the engineering consulting industry for five years, since her graduation from Montana State University in Bozeman.

"I’ve helped design hospitals, college labs, elementary schools and industrial parks. I design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and specialty gas systems while being one of only three women engineers in my firm."

Myers grew up with two older brothers in a small dairy farm in western Washington. Sports was the family's passion until Myers was diagnosed with cancer in 2009.

Today, she and her family spend time together with their Bernese Mountain dogs hiking and traveling. Other hobbies include cooking, baking, horseback riding and being on the water. She also owns & operates a small vegetable/flower farm and a wood flower floristry.
