GU's Iota Delta Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi Achieves Gold Status for 2023-2024

In an exciting recognition of outstanding achievement, Gonzaga University's Iota Delta Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi has been awarded Gold status for the 2023-2024 academic year. This distinction comes from the international Beta Alpha Psi organization and highlights the chapter’s excellence in academic performance, professionalism, and ethical leadership.

Dr. Patricia M. Poli, CPA, 2024-‘25 President of Beta Alpha Psi, shared her congratulations in a formal statement, saying, "On behalf of the Beta Alpha Psi Board of Directors, I am delighted to inform you of the remarkable achievement of the Iota Delta chapter during the 2023-2024 academic year. Under the exceptional leadership of Matt Hoag, the chapter has earned international recognition as a Gold chapter, an accomplishment that speaks volumes about the dedication and excellence of your department."

Faculty advisor, Dr. Matthew Hoag credits the student officers, Amelia Rees, Katie Tuttle, Julie Moore, and James Schatz for their commitment and hard work throughout the year. “These student officers worked so hard to coordinate an incredible and active year of professional meetings, career fairs, and service activities. I’m so proud to see the officers and the chapter achieve this recognition as a testament to their diligence and the energy they contributed to the organization day in and day out.”

The Gold award status also comes with a $500 award, generously sponsored by KPMG LLP and the KPMG Foundation, in recognition of the chapter’s outstanding performance.

As the Iota Delta chapter moves into the 2024-2025 academic year, this achievement serves as a testament to the high standards and excellence that are hallmarks of Gonzaga University’s School of Business Administration.
