Free Summer Tours of Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center
All Welcome to Tour Region’s Newest Performance Venue
SPOKANE, Wash. — Free public tours of the new Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center at Gonzaga University are now being scheduled through August. Tours will include guided visits to the Center’s three main sections:
- The Fr. Bernard J. Coughlin, S.J. Theater (Coughlin Theater) — a state-of-the-art performance hall equipped for theater and dance productions, music concerts, film and lectures.
- The Martin and Edwidge Woldson Recital Hall — a flexible facility for smaller performances, rehearsals, receptions and celebrations.
- The Myrtle Woldson Collection — a permanent exhibit celebrating Miss Woldson’s life, entrepreneurship, and contributions to the Spokane community. The collection consists of an interpretive center and replicated rooms of Miss Woldson’s South Hill home.
Beginning in the light-filled lobby with views of the Gonzaga campus and the Spokane River, performing arts center staff will share information about the facility’s design, unique features, and future programming.
