Gonzaga Law launches Student Fellowship Program in Leadership in Honor of Former Dean Smithmoore P. Myers

1L Gonzaga Law students attended a reception on August 16, 2017 to meet their 2L/3L mentors as part of the new Smitty Leadership Fellows Program. Each Smitty Leadership Fellow will provide mentorship and support to a small group of 1L students throughout their first year at Gonzaga Law. This innovative mentoring program is named after Smithmoore P. “Smitty” Myers, the beloved, two-time Dean of Gonzaga University School of Law, who embodied the very best of what it means to be a Gonzaga Lawyer: humble, generous in his service to others, and an exceptional attorney who made a truly defining contribution to the life and character of Gonzaga Law.
