Scott Snider to Direct Campus Security

SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga University has hired Scott Snider as director of campus security and public safety.
Snider brings 27 years of law enforcement experience to the position, including 10 years as a lieutenant for the City of Bellingham (Washington) Police Department. Most recently, he served as director of safety and security at Renton Technical College in Renton, Washington.
Snider earned a master's degree in education from Loyola University Chicago in 2012.
"I place emphasis on program improvement, outstanding service, and unobtrusive but engaged professional presence," Snider said.
At Gonzaga Snider leads a 20-member team of security officers and communications specialists, and coordinates closely with Spokane police and fire departments as well as other local authorities and neighbors.
