Join us for the 2025 Quackenbush Lecture featuring the distinguished Raul C. Pangalangan, a former Judge at the International Criminal Court at The Hague (2015-21). With a remarkable career that includes trying cases of war crimes involving child soldiers, forced marriages, and attacks on cultural heritage, Judge Pangalangan brings unparalleled expertise and insight.
Currently a Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, D.C., Pangalangan also serves as a Member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration and has been elected to the Institut de Droit International. - Attendees can park without a pass in front of the law school after 5:00 p.m.
- Backpacks/bags will not be allowed in the courtroom during the lecture.
The Quackenbush lecture series honors Judge Quackenbush for his outstanding contributions to the legal profession and the Spokane community, while promoting the principles of leadership, ethics, and civil discourse. Karl and Michelle Quackenbush recently endowed the series so that it may continue to be a valuable resource for Gonzaga Law students and the communities they serve.
