About This Event

Fostering a culture of innovation is essential for success. This 3-day academy, hosted by Gonzaga's School of Leadership Studies, equips leaders with the tools, mindset, and strategies to drive innovation within their teams and across your entire organization. Through interactive sessions, case studies, and practical exercises, you'll learn how to create an environment where creativity thrives, problems are solved, and breakthrough solutions emerge.

Innovation is not just for leaders like Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, and Andy Grove. According to IBM's annual survey of 1500 global CEO's, more than rigor, discipline, or any other factor, innovation is the key to success. This means innovation is something senior leadership should create space for, but it is also something senior leaders should perform.  This means innovation is for directors, managers, and team leads, as much as it is for vice presidents and IT executives. Former Chief Innovation Officers Dr. Jeff Borden and Dr. Steve Johnson will create a highly interactive, modeled experience for participants.  Dean Borden will share an innovation formula to help leaders move organizations in creating and sustaining more innovative solutions, at scale. Jeff is joined by Dr. Steve Johnson, former SVP of Innovation at National University, author, and Innovation and Futures Thinking Consultant. Jeff will share his blueprint for such initiatives which have been used to change and shape ecosystems of Innovation, at scale, at multiple organizations.  Leveraging the latest frameworks from organizational psychology, creating efficiencies through strategic technology, and tapping into resources across multiple stakeholder groups, this methodology is comprehensive and attainable.  While re-imagining some old processes, strategic systems design and innovation catalysts can help us move through the 21st century, helping solve some long-time organizational innovation challenges and addressing others before they manifest.

The Academy is $2,500 per person and includes a kick off dinner with keynote speaker, 2 full days of interactive learning with breakfasts and lunches, and course materials.
