Our panel of experts includes:

Sherri Lynch, Assistant Dean, Gonzaga School of Leadership Studies, and Co-Founder of Gonzaga Women Lead
Sherri earned her Doctorate in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University and is a certified Learning in Action Emotional Intelligence practitioner.  She teaches in the Comprehensive Leadership Program and provides a variety of organizations with leadership education. Sherri serves on the YWCA of Spokane Board of Directors and acts as Chair for the Canopy Credit Union Board of Directors.

Kristie Holzer, Senior HR Talent Manager, Numerica Credit Union
Kristie earned her Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. She currently serves as President for the Inland Northwest chapter of SHRM.  Kristie focuses on talent management, retention, and employee relations, and possesses extensive expertise in psychometric testing. 

Sandra Walker, Chief Operating Officer, Fairmount Memorial Association
Sandra is a graduate of Gonzaga University's Certificate in Women’s Leadership program and a Leadership Spokane 2024 alumni. She will share her management team’s experience taking the Emotional Intelligence WE-I assessment and discuss positive organizational outcomes. 

In addition to our panel discussion, we will engage in a workshop to give you insight into the five core components of emotional intelligence. You will leave Why Emotional Intelligence Matters with an increased awareness of your emotions and how to manage them, plus improve your relationship skills.
