About This Event
Join the Gonzaga University Wine Institute for our fall immersion event on October 22, 2022, in Portland, OR. The event will focus on urban winemaking with ENSO Winery owner and winemaker Ryan Sharp.
This immersion is open to anyone who wants to learn more about winemaking and the wine business. Gonzaga alumni, certificate students, and community are welcome. Space is limited, so we encourage you to register soon if you haven't already!
Itinerary
10am: Welcome from Jessica Kiser, Director of GU Wine Institute
10:15am: "Wine in Oregon: Then and Now". Rich Schmidt, Linfield University Wine History Archivist
10:45am: "Urban Winemaking". Ryan Sharp, ENSO Winery Owner/Winemaker
- Tour of ENSO Winery

12:00pm: Lunch catered by Elephants Catering & Events
1:00pm: Panel: Pursuing Your Passion in Wine

Please note: Participants should arrange for their own travel and hotel accommodations in Portland. Participants must also agree to abide by whatever COVID-19 protocols are imposed by the state of Washington and Gonzaga University at the time of the event. The event organizers will provide detailed information on COVID-19 protocols to all registrants closer to the event date
