About This Event
In the week following Juneteenth, the Center for Civil and Human Rights (CCHR) will be examining this country's history of slavery and oppression with a lecture by law professor and CCHR Director Jason Gillmer. Professor Gillmer will discuss his ongoing research into his latest book project, "Litigating Slavery’s Reach: Race, Rights, and the Law During the California Gold Rush."
This presentation is a part of CCHR's Social Justice Lunch Series.
