About This Event
The annual Gonzaga University School of Law Red Mass for the Legal Profession will be held Tuesday, October 9 at 5:30pm. The Mass will be held in the University Chapel on the third floor of College Hall.
The 2018 Distinguished Legal Service Award will be presented to the Hon. Annette S. Plese, '91 at the conclusion of the liturgy and a reception will follow at Cataldo Hall, 502 E. Boone Ave.

Originally held in 1310, Red Mass marked the beginning of the Michaelmas (fall term) of the King’s Bench during the reign of Edward of England. It was an occasion of pageantry and solemnity as judges, barristers and members of Parliament gathered to invoke God’s blessing and guidance for themselves and their profession.
