Dr. Parker teaches art history courses on a range of topics, including women artists, 19th c. European art, 20th c. American art, and the history of photography. She has published articles on late nineteenth-century French painting in French Cultural Studies and the SECAC Review.  She is the author of the book, Painting the Prehistoric Body in Late Nineteenth-Century France (2018, Rowman & Littlefield/University of Delaware Press).
